Beautiful Hike Up a Hilltop Shrine

Leaving the coastal charm of Essaouira behind, we venture inland into the rugged countryside, where few visitors ever tread. Along the way, we pause at an abandoned Kasbah, a once-fortified dwelling now standing quietly in the landscape, almost forgotten by time and tourism. Our path then leads us on a gentle hike to a hilltop shrine overlooking a serene lake and rolling hills scattered with ancient Argan trees. At the summit, we explore the shrine before settling beneath the shade of an Argan tree to enjoy a picnic lunch and traditional Moroccan tea, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the region.
